Glory and Sacha, two “loners” (soldiers who have no family in Israel) of Russian origin are expeditely convicted for stealing arms and selling them to terrorists. The two boys are considered as traitors and are maltreated by both their cellmates and the jailers. Glory, the tougher of the two, tries to protect his buddy Sacha who cannot take the situation any more and starts a mutiny, claiming a fair trial… A story of loyalty and friendship, based on true events, “The Loners” is Renen Schorr’s first feature after 20 years of silence following his great success: “Summer Holiday Blues”.
