Invisible

Israel, the late 70’s. The serial rapist known as « the Polite Rapist » by the media, is finally caught. Women all around the country are relieved – all but the victims. 20 years later, when two of the victims coincidentally meet, long repressed memories resurface.
While Nira, the reserved television editor, becomes obsessed with the rape, Lily, a charismatic activist desperately tries to conceal it as it continues to haunt her relationship with her husband and children.  Nira and Lily team up and try to exorcise the demons of the past. Their journey quickly turns into a subtleand moving friendship. They break their emotional chains and free themselves from the feelings of humiliation and guilt.

Featuring Israel’s internationally acclaimed actress Ronit Elkabetz.
